A Sydney film and photography studio. I rebuilt the site and took it off Squarespace.
Cinema 7 is Micky Sabat’s. He makes photography and film for Australian businesses: a product going out, a building someone has not walked through, a night that needs to make sense afterwards, the people a client will actually meet.
Referred work is the engine. Someone is sent to Micky, then they look the studio up. The site has to show the work and explain how a job runs.
It sat on Squarespace. Changing a page or the structure meant working around that platform.
The rebuild was to get off it, and onto a site he holds the keys to.
I wrote the pages first. What the studio does, who it is for, how a production is run, and how to enquire. The design followed that copy. Then I built it and moved the old site across.
It is live at cinema7.com.au. Micky owns the domain, the code and the accounts.
