What our AI SEO services in Brisbane include

Our AI SEO services in Brisbane cover four parts of the work. Each part is described in full on our AI SEO services page. Every engagement starts with a check of your site. We scope and price the work upfront, and our guide to what AI SEO costs explains what drives the price.

Access

We check that Google and the AI search crawlers can reach every page you want found. That covers robots.txt, indexing, redirects and the sitemap. 2% of the Brisbane sites we checked block an AI search crawler. So this step is usually quick, but one wrong line can hide a whole site.

Understanding

We add structured data and write page titles and descriptions that name the service and Brisbane. We also make your business details match on your site, your Google Business Profile and the main directories. The work happens inside your current site. WordPress was the most common platform among the Brisbane sites we checked (27 of 63).

Answers

We write a page for each service and area you want to be found for. Each page answers a customer question in its first two sentences, because answer engines quote that part. You approve every page before it goes live.

Measurement

Each month you see searches and clicks from Search Console and where your pages rank. You also see what the main AI engines say when someone asks about your category in Brisbane.

Brisbane businesses at a glance

Greater Brisbane (ABS GCCSA) had 242,271 registered businesses at 30 June 2025, up 2.9% on a year earlier. 149,979 of them have no employees. Of the 92,292 that employ staff, 85,226 have fewer than 20.

Among the industries we track, construction and trades is the largest with 39,935 businesses (16.5%), then professional services (36,473) and real estate (27,913).

Health care grew fastest over the year, up 7%. More businesses in a category means more of them competing for the same searches and the same few names in an AI answer.

What we found on Brisbane business websites

In October 2026 we checked 63 Brisbane business websites: the home page, robots.txt and llms.txt of each. We sampled businesses listed in OpenStreetMap from the City of Brisbane council area. The business counts above cover Greater Brisbane (ABS GCCSA). Of the 63 sites:

  • 27%

have LocalBusiness structured data, the markup that tells search engines what kind of business it is and where. 68% have some structured data of any kind.

  • 29%

have no meta description on the home page, so Google writes its own summary for the search result.

  • 2%

block at least one AI search crawler (OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot or Claude-SearchBot) in robots.txt. A further 5% block only crawlers that collect AI training data.

  • 21%

have an llms.txt file. 5 of those 13 were generated automatically by the site builder or an SEO plugin.

Sample: 63 sites, checked 20 October 2026. Method and limits on the local data page.

By industry

Industries with at least five sites checked. Small samples, so read these as a pointer, not a census.

What we would fix first in Brisbane

Ordered by how many Brisbane sites in our sample have the gap. Your own site may differ, which is why every engagement starts by checking it.

1. Add LocalBusiness structured data

About 7 in 10 Brisbane sites we checked don't say in code what kind of business they are, where they are or when they open. It is a small job on most sites and it removes guesswork for every search engine that reads the page. Our LocalBusiness structured data guide shows what to include.

2. Write the search result summary yourself

29% of the Brisbane home pages we checked have no meta description. Google then picks a sentence from the page, which is often a cookie notice or a menu. A one-sentence summary that names the service and the area is quick to write and you control it.

3. Answer the questions customers ask, on your own pages

AI answers quote pages that answer the question directly. For a Brisbane business that usually means a page per service that says what you do, where, for whom, what it costs to start and how to book, written in the words customers use. What AI SEO is explains how answer engines pick their sources.

Support for Brisbane businesses

Brisbane questions

  • Do you work with businesses in Brisbane?

Yes. We work with Brisbane businesses remotely from Sydney, by video call and shared documents. The work itself happens on your website, your Google Business Profile and in Search Console, so it does not depend on where we sit.

  • How did you check Brisbane business websites?

We sampled businesses listed in OpenStreetMap from the City of Brisbane council area. We picked up to 12 per industry that list a website and checked 63 home pages, their robots.txt and their llms.txt in October 2026. The full method is on our local data page.

  • What is the most common gap on Brisbane business websites?

The most common gap is structured data: 73% of the 63 Brisbane business sites we checked have no LocalBusiness markup. It is widest in real estate, where 9% of the 11 sites we checked have it.

  • Is there government help for Brisbane businesses with digital marketing?

Yes. Digital Solutions (Australian Small Business Advisory Services) (check intake with your state provider): Federal programme for businesses with fewer than 20 employees and sole traders. Free workshops, webinars and tutorials on digital marketing, selling online, business software, AI and cybersecurity, plus up to five hours of one-on-one advice for a small fee. We last checked on 20 October 2026.

  • Can you guarantee my business will appear in ChatGPT or AI Overviews?

No, and nobody can. Google says it does not guarantee any page will be crawled, indexed or shown, and the same is true of every AI engine. What we can do is remove the reasons you would be left out and measure what changes each month.
